Local support and fair terms. If your item arrives faulty or a manufacturing defect is confirmed within 30 days, we cover the courier both ways for repair or replacement.
Good to know
- Within 30 days: Faulty on delivery/confirmed defects — we book collection and redelivery at our cost.
- After 30 days: Approved warranty replacements carry a R100 handling fee (processing + outbound shipping of the replacement).
- Watches & smartwatches: 12 months; KDEAM sunglasses: 6 months; snorkel masks: 12 months.
Care guidance and exclusions apply (e.g., water/steam exposure for watches/smartwatches; lens care for sunglasses).
How to make a claim
- WhatsApp 063 232 8285 or email support@smael.co.za with your order number and brief description (photos/video help).
- We’ll guide quick checks and confirm next steps. If within 30 days and defective, we arrange courier at our cost.
- Return address: 6 Ashwood Boulevard, Veld Street, Glen Marais, Kempton Park, 1619, Gauteng (or as instructed by support).
- Inspection within 5–7 business days; we’ll confirm approval and resolution (repair/replacement; refund if applicable).
Care basics
- Watches (5ATM): avoid showers, hot water, or steam; don’t swim with the watch.
- Smartwatches (IP67/IP68): lab‑rated only; avoid hot water/steam, swimming, salt water.
- Sunglasses: clean lenses with a microfiber cloth only; avoid chemicals and tissues/paper.
