    WARRANTY POLICY

    At Smael South Africa, we are proud to stand by the quality craftsmanship of our products and offer different warranty periods for various brands. Your product is warranted to the original consumer/purchaser against breakage or malfunction under regular use due to defects in material or workmanship.

    The Warranty is only valid for products purchased from our online store (http://www.smael.co.za). There are many cheap imitations sold elsewhere, and we do not offer a warranty on any products not bought from our online store.

    If a customer receives a faulty item that is discovered upon opening the package, we will be responsible for providing a replacement at our cost.

    If a month has passed since the delivery and the product breaks, please refer to the warranty policies for specific product below for warranty replacement:

    Smael Watches: 1 Year Limited Warranty

    This warranty extends for 1 year from the date of purchase and covers all components and craftsmanship of the movement and watch case, excluding the battery. Should any Smael product prove defective under normal use, we will repair it, or, at our discretion, replace it with the same or a comparable model. If neither repair nor replacement is commercially viable, we will issue a refund.

    Note1: All Smael watches are 'SPLASH PROOF'. Exposure to hot showers or baths can cause condensation within the watch casing and will void the warranty.

    Note2: The watches are not designed for swimming or any water-related activities. Using the watch for such purposes will result in a voided warranty.

    Customers are responsible for any transportation costs for returning the watch for inspection. In the event of a replacement, a handling fee of R150 will apply, covering processing and shipping of the new item.

    Proof of purchase from our online store is required for warranty service to verify that the product was purchased from us and to confirm the purchase date. Please retain your order confirmation or receipt.

    Kdeam Sunglasses: 6 Months Limited Warranty

    Coverage: The warranty covers manufacturing defects that may arise during normal use of the sunglasses. This includes issues related to materials, workmanship, or any other factory-related defects.


    Exclusions: The warranty does not cover any breakage or damage caused by neglect, accidental breakage, mishandling, or improper use of the sunglasses. 

    Please note that our warranty does not cover damage such as broken frames or scratched lenses.

    Inspection Process: If you believe that the issue with your sunglasses is due to a factory defect and not caused by neglect or accidental breakage on your side, you can send them back to us for inspection.

    Inspection Outcome: Our team will thoroughly inspect the sunglasses to determine if the issue is indeed a factory defect. If it is found to be a manufacturing defect, we will either repair or replace the sunglasses. If the issue is determined to be caused by neglect or accidental breakage, it will not be covered under the warranty.

    Please be aware that any transportation expenses incurred for returning the sunglasses for inspection will be the customer's responsibility. Additionally, should there be a need to replace the sunglasses, we kindly inform our customers that a fee of R150 will be charged to cover both shipping and handling of the new item We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

    This warranty covers all components and craftsmanship of the smartwatch, including the movement and watch case. We will repair, or, at our discretion, replace any defective Lige products with the same or a comparable model. We will refund the purchase if repair or replacement is not commercially viable.

    Note1: All Smart watches are IP68 or IP67 water proof. Please note that an IP67 or IP68 waterproof rating does not make a device suitable for use during hot showers, baths, swimming or any water activities. The watch will steam up, and the warranty will be void!!

    The warranty will become null and void if misused, abused, tampered with or taken apart, or if the product is repaired by anyone other than a professional jeweler. The warranty does not extend to the watch strap, bracelet, finish, crystal, crown, battery, or scratched watch/sunglass lenses. The warranty does not cover any incidental, consequential, or special damage arising from any or all uses of the product.

    Note1: All Mark Fairwhale watches are 'SPLASH PROOF'. Do not shower under hot water or bath in Warm Water. The watch will steam up, and the warranty will be void!!
